My Top Atlanta Venue Choices (The Fox Theatre)

After months and months of analyzing what seems like a million wedding venues in Atlanta, I have narrowed my search down to six amazing choices. While I was primary looking for rooftop venue, I expanded my search and included some others that peaked my interest as well. Also, as you know, I have not looked at any of these venues in person, so for now I am just going on my own research until I travel to Atlanta in 3 weeks. Third on the list...

Fox Theatre. Oh, Fox Theatre. To be honest, it was the last to make it on my list. Not because I didn't like it  but because I hadn't even thought of it. One of my friends mentioned it and I was so surprised to see that they had 2 ballrooms and were often utilized at weddings. I saw the pictures and instantly had to know more.  After contacting the wedding coordinator, I was surprised to learn that it was reasonable (yea, reasonable for an in-town Atlanta wedding).

So what's to love? Um, its an Atlanta staple. Who hasn't driven down Peachtree Street and glazed at the shining lights to see who was preforming there on a given night? And if you look at the pictures below, it looks amazing for weddings. And its definitely a showstopper and I don't know anyone that has gotten married here, so that makes it a plus. Another added plus, is our name in lights. If you get married there, they will add your name to the marquee on your wedding night. I love that added feature and I think it will make for a great photo idea. Also, if we decide on Fox Theatre, we can play off that theme throughout the entire wedding, by having perhaps playbill or movie tickets Save the Dates and having a old Hollywood theme. The only downsides so far is seeing if there is ceremony space available and whether are not the pictures are true to life. The Fox Theatre has been around a long time, so I want to be sure that it indeed looks like the pictures below. Time shall tell, but it is one of my favorites.
